Automation Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
• Maintain an organized clean work environment and positively impact the plant’s safety initiatives
• Conduct PLC Ladder Logic troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, programming and analog inputs &outputs
• Conduct troubleshooting, repair & replacement of AC & DC motors & drives
• Perform basic programming & troubleshooting of robotic equipment
• Instruct team members on robotic Paths & I/O & Interfacing
• Assist Automation Engineers and other Departments during the development, installation and programming of Line upgrades and Line installations

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• AAS Degree with an Automation or Robotics emphasis
• Demonstrated understanding of basic concepts, programming, & troubleshooting of CNC Servo Controls, Encoders & Resolvers
• Valid driver’s license required for travel to other Facilities or Training locations
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision-making skills
