Automation Technician - 2nd Shift
Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Understand and follow work instructions and control plans
- Maintain an organized clean work environment and positively impact the plant’s safety initiatives
- Conduct PLC Ladder Logic troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, programming and analog inputs &outputs
- Conduct troubleshooting, repair & replacement of AC & DC motors & drives
- Perform basic programming & troubleshooting of robotic equipment
- Instruct team members on robotic Paths & I/O & Interfacing
- Assist Automation Engineers and other Departments during the development, installation and programming of Line upgrades and Line installations
REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- AAS Degree with an Automation or Robotics emphasis
- Demonstrated understanding of basic concepts, programming, & troubleshooting of CNC Servo Controls, Encoders & Resolvers
- Valid driver’s license required for travel to other Facilities or Training locations
- Must demonstrate excellent attendance, attitude, and decision-making skills
