Summary of Position

Coordinate/Plan/Schedule incoming customer sales orders with appropriate tooling, supporting documents, materials, and other needs to facilitate the manufacturing process.


Essential Job Requirements (MINIMUM):

 

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints & specifications.

·         Coordinates activities of drawings and customer requirements, in association with manufacturing products, to support the planning, production, and quality departments of the operation.

·         Ability to review customer purchase orders, schedules, MRP and as directed by internal customers to ascertain that all required product data (such as part drawings, tooling information, customer packaging requirements) are communicated in the operations, and manufacturing orders (MO) / work orders (WO) are scheduled/printed/distributed to meet company’s shipment demands.

·         Assist the Planning department to actively manage the production schedule.

·         Revise/Create bill of materials (B.O.M.) and manufacturing plans to meet the desired results for manufacturing of part details.

·         Assist the planning department with filing completed MOs / WOs and pulling documents.

·         Ability to track all work performed and record in MO / WO as required.

·         Supplies support to other areas within the department, as necessary or required.

·         Other duties as required or necessary beyond this scope.

 

Responsible for conforming to the company's quality system procedures as documented.


EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required.

Associate degree or Certified Training with emphasis in planning desired

Or equivalent combination of education and experience


EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years Planning & Scheduling experience required in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
