Job Summary

Millstone Power Station is seeking a Nuclear Toolkeeper to join the Nuclear Maintenance Department.

Performs work associated with the receipt, storage, and issuance of tools at the Millstone Station. Issues tools and performs calibration checks as required. Maintains the Millstone Station control procedure. Verifies tools are functional/operable upon return to facility control. Responsible for minor tools repairs to approved procedures. Operates computer system for inventory checks, inventory replenishment and inventory accuracy. Responsible for the purchase of tools from vendors using P-card to approved purchase agreements established by Supply Chain Management with approved maintenance budget requirements. Responsible for overseeing established purchase and lease agreements for tools and equipment (i.e. invoice approvals and any payment discrepancy resolution). Responds to plant customers regarding the availability of tools and provides needed support as necessary. Works within the guidelines of the tool safety program. Responsible for the control, review and printing of MSDS labels for all consumables. Ensures tools are maintained in accordance with the Material and Testing Equipment program requirements. Assists with the rigging testing and inspection program. Participates in self-assessments and prompt adequate resolution of identified department issues. Responsible for receiving, informing, and giving information in a timely manner related to issues such a safe work practices, work schedules or delays, wasted resources, errors not readily apparent or easy to detect, and non-compliance to procedures, and work processes or procedures that could improve performance or reduce costs. Demonstrates the willingness to report and contribute to the resolution of employee concerns. Contributes to a safety conscious work environment supportive of the positive, honest, and open exchange of ideas and differing opinions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

2 years of tool crib, warehousing or related experience is required

Preferred Experience:

Rigging experience or knowledge.

Forktruck experience or certification.

Advanced Radiation Worker qualification.

Experience with Cribmaster, SAP, DocTop.

Position requires advanced radiation worker qualification. Must be qualified and able to perform the responsibilities and tasks of the postion to accurately read, interpret, and comply with company/department procedures, provide attention to detail, and to minimize errors. Must be knowledgeable of tool applications and tool safety requirements. Must maintain a valid driver's license as required by state and federal laws.

Overtime including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.
