Would you like to take on a broad Finance Manager role during the maturation and construction phase of an offshore wind farm?
 
Join us and become Programme Financial Manager (PFM) in the Project Financial Management team for our first offshore construction projects in the US. In the PFM team, we're responsible for the financial aspect of our construction projects as part of the management team of these large-scale projects.
 
Your key responsibilities will be to
  • manage all finance activities in the construction programme and coordinate finance deliverables with specialist teams like tax, accounting, controlling, investment analysis, treasury, legal, etc.
  • manage the full business case, including the operational phase of the project, and secure a high degree of transparency of the project's financial status, uncertainties and risks
  • identify and lead value enhancement activities
  • ensure efficient processes between the project and key stakeholders in Finance
  • manage your finance project team and contribute to the overall leadership of the project.
 
In addition, you'll communicate and report to potential partners and other external stakeholders and drive cross-functional cooperation within finance and with external stakeholders.
 
Each Programme Financial Manager is assigned to one construction project as part of the Programme Management Team and will report directly to the Programme Director, but will report to the Head of Programme Financial Management in the line organisation.
 
Your competences include that you
  • hold a master's degree in finance or similar
  • have experience with long-term investments, construction projects, business cases, cost management and joint ventures
  • have experience from companies working with large-scale and complex projects involving external stakeholders
  • have experience leading project teams
  • are familiar with general project management disciplines and their interaction with financial management, including planning, scope, cost and risk management.
 
Furthermore, you're a skilled user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and speak and write English fluently. You're a proactive, adaptive and 'can-do' person, and you have a structured and result-driven approach to problem-solving. Finally, you have strong communication skills, are a team player and are prepared to work intensively during busy periods.
