Do you think economic modelling, financial econometrics, statistics, data analysis and programming sound exciting? 
Join us and become Student Assistant in Fuel & Logistics where you'll influence decisions and handle tasks on your own, thereby contributing with your knowledge and expertise. You'll help build supply and demand models for biomass products, model financial time series relevant for the biomass market, do valuation of biomass contracts and communicate results and conclusions to colleagues and management. 
Your key tasks will be to 
  • gather and maintain market and internal data relevant for market assessments 
  • analyse market prices and other data using a financial time series approach to assess market risks 
  • use financial methods to do biomass contract valuation 
  • gain an understanding of the biomass market and help build a view of supply and demand 
  • prepare material for management presentations. 
Your competences include that you 
  • are currently studying economics, business, engineering, mathematics, data science or another relevant discipline and have at least two years left before graduating 
  • would be excited to work with data and tools such as R, Python and SQL 
  • are interested in communicating results using, e.g., PowerPoint 
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks 
  • are able to handle several tasks simultaneously and thrive in a changeable environment. 
Furthermore, you speak and write English fluently.
