RESPONSIBILITIES: The Cloud Solutions Architect will apply proven knowledge and expertise to a major effort evolving TechnipFMC-owned software to leverage modern technologies and techniques. The software modernization and transformation will be rooted around cloud-based architecture, multi-tenancy, and SaaS concepts. Through a process of iterative releases using Agile and DevOps best practices, the Cloud Solutions Architect will remove technical blocks, provide software architecture, design guidance, and take an active role in automation and DevOps as our products evolve and mature. MAIN TASKS:
  • Design and develop innovative solutions to modernize and transform TechnipFMC products using Public Cloud Service technologies such as Azure
  • Deliver technical solutions for improving the overall quality of product build, deployment automation, monitoring and alerting, with emphasis on non-functional requirements (standards, resilience, stability, scalability, security etc.)
  • Help design and implement a CI/CD strategy to incorporate into the product development lifecycle
  • Help ensure security considerations are robustly incorporated into deliverables
  • Document best practices deploying, configuring and managing Cloud Services and development/production ecosystems
  • Effectively organize and coordinate a global virtual team to deliver on key strategic objectives c ollaborating and communicating with other team members to drive team objectives
  • Provide accurate estimates to business cases and critical systems transformation projects
  • Work with other programmers, technical writers, project leads, and other subject matter experts in order to meet requirements
  • Work with quality assurance groups to resolve integration testing issues
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to drive customer satisfaction as well as product supportability improvements REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5+ years' of relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of agile product development lifecycles
  • Domain level experience with Public Cloud Services and Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure experience preferable), Microservices Architecture, DevOps, Virtualization, Application Management and Cybersecurity
  • Experience supporting DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline efforts, as well as infrastructure design and development
  • Working knowledge of ASP.NET, JavaScript and SQL Server programming is desirable
  • Ability to work well in fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
  • Exceptional learning, communication (written and verbal, internal and external) and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with product development team on problem troubleshooting and driving product improvements
