We are currently looking for a Coating Inspector - Fabrication Supervision for one of our leading renewable energy clients. This is for an initial 3 months but there is the possibility to extend further thereafter. We are looking for a Consultant that can start this role from 28th January 2019 up until 30th April 2019. The Consultant must have Nace Level 3 and / or FROSIO Inspector level 3, please see below full list of required qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • To support and monitor Coating activities of TP’s at workshop and sub-suppliers
  • Take part in technical meetings
  • Participate in the inspection of paint
  • Participate in the inspection of sup-suppliers
  • Follow up on progress at coating workshop
  • Follow up on any coating issues
  • Review documentation (corrosion protection documentation, work procedures, method statements)
  • Review progress reports relating to the coating
  • Review coating documentation
  • Take part in test on completion and verification walk downs prior to load outs
  • Follow up on results of test on completion and verification walk downs
 Qualifications:   
  • Profound knowledge of various tasks working as NACE Level 3 and or FROSIO Inspector level 3
  • Profound knowledge of PFP, TSA, TSZA
  • Good knowledge of foundations, monopiles, transition pieces, jacket structure
  • GWO working at heights
  • Level of competence Senior Staff
 
Special Provisions:  
 
The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1.

The Consultant must have his / her own PPE equipment
