Ørsted Graduate - the journey 
You'll do two-three rotations, where you'll solve business challenges, be responsible for your own assignments and be engaged in our day-to-day business decisions.  
 
In your rotations, you'll work on many of the processes within the wind turbine generator (WTG) area, including optimising the exchange of major components, utilising jack-up vessels, assessing new technologies and implementing these in the operational part of the business. 
 
In short, you'll be 
  • assessing large and complex amounts of data within the area of major component exchanges and managing offshore trials of new technologies 
  • optimising ways of working in order to increase efficiency and reduce costs 
  • bridging the field between large onshore operations projects and offshore operations and providing input to strategic sourcing, cost assumptions and design requirements 
  • identifying and developing new technologies that will innovate the operation of offshore wind farms 
  • assisting colleagues with other ad hoc tasks. 
 
You'll gain direct experience with offshore wind operations via specific project work as well as emerging technologies, such as robotics and drones. 
 
You'll have 
  • graduated before 1 September 2019 with a master's degree in engineering and have delivered excellent results 
  • experience in planning and executing large projects within operations in addition to analysing the outcome with the aim to continuously improve 
  • an innovative mindset with the ability to find transformative solutions to complex problems 
  • strong analytical skills, a high level of personal drive and a high learning ability 
  • an international, collaborative mindset and an ambition to be the best in your field. 
 
You'll speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently in a global setting.
