The EMEA Business Operations Manager will be a key member of a cross functional business team based in Amsterdam pursuing stationary energy storage markets. Besides a rock-solid work ethic and a strong team oriented personality, the right person will be a scrappy entrepreneur who will assist the team to build on the existing foundations of the business operations efforts which has both a local and global focus. They will furthermore display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting technology and market landscape.


  • Be the primary point of contact to all relevant cross-functional stakeholders regarding all aspects of EMEA Business Operations
  • Lead and manage a team of managers and individual contributors to support all products and channels of the Energy Products business, including Sales Operations, Analytics, Project Management, Quality Assurance & Training, and Residential Installation Operations, while building and maintaining strong relationships with Business Operations teams in other regions
  • Together with the Global Business Operations team identify, develop, implement and manage initiatives/projects that enable the continuous rapid growth of the business unit
  • Embody the spirit of cross functional collaboration across the company = breaking down silos
  • Collaborate closely with the IT development team to define functional and timeline requirements of software tools and provide business context for the effort, drive project prioritization based on greatest need to the business
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across all business sectors, developing tools that allow for visibility into process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
  • Facilitate an organization of continuous process improvement and slay process inefficiencies wherever they may hide
  • Work closely with management (sales, production, operations, deployment, and finance) to inspect process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
  • Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel

  • Bachelor's Degree from a top university
  • 5-10+ years relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience of developing process tools and running operations
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to execute many projects and tasks in parallel
  • Intense desire to be on leading edge of market and technology
