The Role

As part of our world-class recruiting team, your task is finding the best talent for Telsa. You'll play a pivotal role in Tesla's growth by identifying candidates who have an entrepreneurial drive, want to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy and will bring the right balance of experience and new ideas.

You'll thrive at Tesla by striking the right balance between flexibility and efficiency, project management and influencing. One hire at a time, you'll provide an excellent experience to internal stakeholders and external candidates alike.

You will:
  • Recruit. You'll scout, pipeline and identify top talent for Tesla from a diverse set of backgrounds in line with your stakeholders' expectations.
  • Evaluate. From skills to cultural fit assessments, you will drive the interview and offer process including screenings, assessment days and reference checks.
  • Negotiate. Working with our compensation partner, you make salary recommendations and negotiate with candidates to close offers.
  • Communicate. You keep interviewers up to date and provide preparation materials on time to ensure a smooth interview process for both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner: You'll work closely with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and advise on the best hiring strategy.
  • Guide. You'll help candidates navigate the recruiting process to ensure the best possible candidate experience. You will also build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and are not afraid to push back when necessary.
  • Represent. You are the face of Tesla and provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer.

You are:

  • Experienced. From sourcing to interviewing to closing candidates, you draw from your experience to have an impact in Tesla's fast-moving environment. You may have previously worked in an agency, multinational or similar setting.
  • A Communicator. You communicate across all levels of the organization in a confident and concise manner. You speak English fluently and may even have additional language skills.
  • A flexible Team Player. While you can work on your own projects autonomously, you never fail to support your team when an extra hand is needed. Moreover, you don't fret but welcome change and adapt easily to shifting priorities and strategy updates.
  • Connected. From LinkedIn to Xing to Boolean strings and specialized tools, you are comfortable using a wide variety of services and tools to find the right talent.
  • An Advisor: As a recognized expert in your field, you advise your internal clients and hiring managers on the current talent market landscape and all questions associated with the recruitment process. You'll use your influencing and relationship building skills to get things done.
  • Creative yet methodical: You use your imagination to find creative ways of sourcing candidates from different talent pools all while keeping systems and reporting up to date.
  • Ethical. You work with integrity, are accountable and have strong work ethics.
  • An ambassador. You are passionate about Tesla's mission and keep up to date with our product developments.
