OFTO Transaction Manager for divesting offshore wind farm transmission assets
Do you want to be responsible for executing high-profile M&A transactions in relation to the world's largest offshore wind farms?

Join us and become OFTO Transaction Manager in our Wind Power Partnerships department where you'll work closely with a senior transaction manager and our EPC function to divest the transmission assets of the world's largest offshore wind farms. Together with the wider transaction team, you'll assume responsibility for project managing the divestment and take an active role in planning and executing a highly complex process with regulatory, commercial and construction-related aspects. The divestments relate to UK assets and are carried out pursuant to a regulatory regime and tender process run by Ofgem. OFTOs have matured into a recognised and sought-after investable asset class, and our Group has completed more OFTO transactions than any other developer.

Your key tasks will be to
  • manage the delivery of key transaction milestones and coordinate these with Ofgem
  • liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the EPC project and external advisers
  • prepare and coordinate due diligence processes, including Ofgem's cost assessment process
  • participate in, and assist with the preparation for, transaction negotiations
  • draft and coordinate internal and external M&A-related documents, including for internal approval processes.

As you gain experience in the role, you'll have the opportunity to take on additional levels of commercial responsibility.

Your competences include that you
  • are able to draw on a strong academic background combined with relevant professional or industry experience
  • typically have some relevant experience from a commercial management role with negotiating experience or from an M&A execution role
  • are proactive and self-motivated and are capable of working independently and self-assuredly with a range of complicated tasks
  • have excellent communication skills and speak and write English fluently (Danish language skills are not required)
  • have the ability to work well with a wider team and take direction from a senior transaction manager.

Furthermore, you're able to work constructively with internal and external stakeholders, and you welcome having your personal and professional skills challenged on a daily basis. You're willing to work in a fast-paced work environment and bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, as well as being extremely well-organised and structured. Infrastructure experience would be considered an advantage, but is not a prerequisite; your ability to learn from and adapt to the challenges of the role will be more valuable.
