Performs schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities as directed. Leads planning and scheduling activities when delegated.
The Planner will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the project schedules utilizing Primavera. Detailed schedule development duties include establishing the work breakdown structure (WBS), resource loading, determining the work activity duration and establishing the proper work flow logic ties. Routine analysis and work around option planning along with interface coordination with other schedulers (on projects & home office) will be required. Other duties include input to the Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports and issuance of the weekly schedule analysis report. Additional duties include supervision of the implementation and maintenance of the Weekly Work Plans, Subcontractor Schedules, Weekly Quantity, Productivity and Progress Curves and updating of the Overall EPC Schedule.
Job Related Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration. Verbal and written communication skills to present data and analysis to PC, other groups, Bechtel Mgmt and Client Mgmt. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Scheduling Engineering or related fields.
