Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company is currently hiring a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst based in Houston, Texas.

The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst role will support the Digital Technology (DT) group. This individual will serve as the FP&A lead to support various DT groups and lead all planning/forecasting & monthly reporting activities. This individual may also maintain oversight over integration/divesture cost tracking & reporting as well as multi-year strategic projects.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information and trends for assigned organization and communicates results and recommendations to Senior Management.
  • Develops and maintains processes/reports to track key business metrics, analyzes and interprets data.
  • Gather Data and input long-range and annual planning processes for groups.
  • Support performance analysis vs. plan, estimates and prior year.
  • Summarizes and presents this financial data to senior managements as well as make recommendations based on data.
  • Drives enhancement of policies, procedures and business practices that improve efficiency within the function and the business.
  • Develops and maintains integrated financial statement plans and forecasts.
  • Acts as a consultant to help the business partners understand the financial impact of their business decisions, providing value added alternatives with accompanying analytics.
  • Identifies, drives and measures cost reductions and efficiency gains
  • Collaborates with operations personnel to measure Key Performance Indicators.
  • Liaisons with Controllership and the Enterprise Finance Organization to ensure financial data quality.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of accounting principle and controllership (US GAAP, PRC GAAP, SOX)
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to deliver message effectively verbally and writing
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Solid experience SAP / HFM Essbase
Desired Characteristics:
  • IT Finance experience a plus
  • Advanced experience in MS Excel and Power Point
