The Role

We are looking for an Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineer for our Reliability and Test team.

  • Develop and implement test programs for electric vehicle powertrain technologies.
  • Work directly with design engineers to create design validation test plans.
  • Design and fabrication of test equipment for mechanical, thermal and electrical systems.
  • Perform component, system and vehicle validation under dynamic and environmental conditions
  • Work with design engineers to validate and refine models.
  • Analyze test data and write test reports.
  • Investigate root cause of failures and help to drive product improvement

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 2+ years of experience in physical testing and analysis of mechanical, thermal, or electrical systems.
  • Automotive component/system testing experience, including certification testing.
  • Experience with Python, Matlab, or other data acquisition and analysis software.
  • Design of test setups for mechanical and thermal performance testing, such as fixtures for shock and vibe testing.
  • Experience creating and executing design validation plans and test methods to validate performance to requirements.
  • Experience creating analytical and numerical models of mechanical, thermal or electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of heat transfer and thermal management.
