The Role:

The Senior Employee Relations Partner will conduct investigations into employee relations concerns and support overall positive workforce engagement for EMEA locations.

The successful candidate will help grow the Employee Relations function in EMEA, providing guidance, support and recommendations to resolve employee relations concerns across multiple countries. This position is both hands-on in providing investigative and employee relations expertise, as well as strategic in building out the organizational capability to address and manage employee relations related issues.

The successful candidate will also be able to work and align closely with key stakeholders in the U.S. and across our EMEA business to help drive the strategy to inform, educate and influence compliance and behavioral standards to foster a healthy, productive and successful workplace culture.

This position can be based in one of our key EU hubs: Amsterdam (preferred), London, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin.

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 7-10 years' experience in employee relations, investigations, employment law, and disciplinary actions; Master's preferred.
  • Evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Familiarity with local laws that govern employment policies and practices, including Works Councils.
  • Thorough understanding and application of internal and external HR principles, concepts, practices and standards.
  • Experience successfully implementing programs across geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills, attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator.
  • Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
  • Limited supervision and direction is provided, as this individual can operate and drive results and set priorities independently.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Strong business acumen.

Ability to travel up to 50% to various EMEA locations
