THE ROLE

Tesla Energy is searching for a dynamic and results focused individual to lead the global training and quality assurance organization for Tesla Energy's operations organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive ongoing learning needs analysis, design, scripting, development, assessment, implementation and evaluation of training materials to ensure alignment with business strategy across the organization globally
  • Select the best facilitation and execution methods to ensure content is delivered with the highest impact while remaining cost effective
  • Develop Certification Pathways and work with managers within all applicable departments to identify skill gaps, training opportunities and develop/deliver training solutions
  • Develop and facilitate a training program for new product release and that is consistent with the company goals, values and culture
  • Establish training metrics and feedback loops to evaluate, and measure and share the effectiveness of the program, fully understand the results of the training program and identify areas for improvements
  • Coordinate with IT on necessary technology improvements or devices to enhance the training experience
  • Build and maintain a metrics package that enables ongoing measurement and visibility of installation quality
  • Continue to enhance and develop the Quality Inspection Program for all applications globally in Residential and Commercial markets allowing the business to measure installation quality in real time
  • Leverage available data and field feedback to track quality-related trends and determine appropriate corrective action or remediation
  • Provide results of field related findings to various internal departments to reduce installation issues and reduce time for installation
  • Provide internal & external resources best in class installation practices to enhance installation outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management
  • Minimum of 5 years of Solar PV/Energy Storage or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a large business environment
  • Understanding of PV electrical and energy storage fundamentals as well as construction principles
  • Proven experience in technical training and managing a training program
  • Proven experience in a related industry with quality as a function of the role
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful and able to manage and delegate shifting priorities
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills required
  • Ability to positively and effectively interact with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
