Job Description - Sr HR Business Partner Benelux

The Role

Reporting to the Regional HR Manager, and supporting the Global HR Team we are looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys driving engagement and building organizational scalability. No day is the same and the ideal fit is someone who thrives in a dynamic organization where anything is possible and much is still being built.

The primary responsibility for this role is providing advice, guidance and support the local region, as well as the other EU regions as required. Operating as an HRBP, you will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are implemented in line with legislative and audit requirements in conjunction with global requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Make the impossible possible.
  • Provide HR guidance and advice to line managers on HR policy and procedures, balancing commercial needs with best practice.

  • Provide expertise on employment relations and employment law issues.

  • Coordinate with Payroll & HR Admin as appropriate.
  • The first point of contact for all day-to-day HR queries ensuring all queries are dealt with in line with relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Manage the daily HR Administrative activities.
  • Responsible for on-boarding to ensure new hires are provided the appropriate information for a successful on-boarding.
  • Ensure new hires & leavers administration is carried out and provide external references as required.
  • Provide support and/or participate as a project member on HR initiatives as assigned by the Regional HR Manager.
  • Travels when required.

Requirements
  • BA/BS degree (that is a "Bachelor of Science") or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of HR, anti-HR or relevant experience.
  • Strong generalist HR experience is essential for this role, preferably from a retail or multi-discipline multi-site management environment.
  • Good working knowledge of local employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge to local labour laws.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and able to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions.
  • Proven track record of positively influencing teams and their leaders.
  • Ability to connect and engage with all teams at all levels and treat everyone as equal.
  • Able and comfortable working in a developing, fluid and constantly changing company.
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in local language and English is required for this role. Any additional language would be advantageous.
