The Role

Tesla Sourcers find the best talent to power a sustainable future. This role partners closely with the Tesla Energy business to identify, attract, assess and hire exceptional people. Our recruiting organization is global and includes highly collaborative teams of recruiters, sourcers, coordinators, recruiting operations professionals and other specialist groups. We value innovation and creativity and constantly seek new ways to improve the recruiting experience. This role is a contract position that will extend through mid March 2019.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to assess talent requirements and advise on the best hiring strategies
  • Identify and assess a diverse candidate pool for high volume hiring needs in North America
  • Utilize multiple tools and approaches to identify the best candidates, including our ATS and third-party products e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed
  • Develop a pipeline of qualified candidates to plan for future hiring needs
  • Conduct thorough behavioral based interviews and phone screens to assess both a technical baseline as well as the ability to be successful in the Tesla environment
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidates
  • Develop strong working relationships and rapport with recruiters, business leaders, hiring managers, and HR partners
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of all recruiting processes in an environment that frequently changes
  • Focus on providing a positive candidate experience at every opportunity

Requirements
  • 2+ years sourcing experience in a corporate and/or agency environment
  • Minimum BS/BA or equivalent in business or related field is preferred
  • Ability to creatively approach hiring needs for hard to fill positions
  • Working knowledge of relevant employment legislation and employment market trends
  • Working knowledge of common visa categories and their application (TN, H1-B, E3 etc.) is plus
  • Experience working with Taleo and Workday is preferred
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing relationships
  • Strong ability to track and manage data and workflow
  • Ability to stay organized while managing a high volume requisition load
  • Evidence of exceptional ability
  • Proficient using MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Reliable transportation
