We are recruiting for an MR Service Engineer to join the team at our site in Oxfordshire.

Here at Siemens\nMagnet Technology in Eynsham, Oxfordshire we specialise in the design and\nmanufacture of superconducting magnets for MRI scanners. We have an exciting opportunity for an MR\nService Engineer to deliver escalated technical and remote support to the\nworldwide local Siemens organisation and OEM companies to resolve site issues\nand reduce customer equipment down time.
If you have an eye for detail and problem\nsolving, experience in field service coupled with a solid understanding of\nimaging diagnostic equipment, especially MRI, or correlated areas in the\nhealthcare business, then we would love to hear from you.
What are my responsibilities?
Customer Support: To support the world service organisation\nwith all aspects needed related the magnet systems within the MR imaging\nsystem.
Product/Service Development: Ability to\nidentify & report issues within Product Support, Service Delivery &\nR&D. Actively engage, network and support MR Engineers who attend Siemens\nMagnet Technology Training Centre to build customer and business relationships.
Incident management: Resolve site issues\n& magnet reported issues through remote technical support & onsite\nvisits. Provide value based responses on severity & priority basis.
Problem / Escalation management: Escalate\nknown hot site / previous hot site issues to CS management group accordingly.
Technical expertise / Knowledge:\nTrouble-shooting, service & repair of MRI magnets
EHS, & Travel Management: Comply with\nSiemens 'Zero harm' core value when providing remote support guidance and\nwhilst prior to working on customer sites.
Project management (including site\nmanagement for onsite work): Undertake each site visit as a Project when\nallocated by a manager or Proxy.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Demonstrated experience and proven working\nrecord with imaging diagnostic equipment or correlated in the healthcare\nindustry, desirable in superconductive magnets and cryogen handling. Background\nin troubleshooting issues and data analysis.
Electrical knowledge - Experience to\ntroubleshooting and identify issues with electrical components and expected\nspecifications working safely.
Mechanical\nknowledge - knowledge on masspectrometer\nand leak test equipment. Competent mechanical experience and use of tooling in\nMR systems, best practice for part replacements and handling.
Cryogen\nknowledge - knowledge on gas regulators, cylinders and cryogen dewars for\nfilling superconductive magnet systems.
Demonstrate safe and competent working in\nthe field, and PPE use. Full understanding working remotely in MR systems\nthrough SRS connection.
