This is a 3-month summer internship starting June / July 2019.

UK Transport Team

Our UK Transport Team has over a 1000 people across the UK working on some of the largest projects on behalf of its core clients. Annually this part of the UK business hires around 60-80 graduates each year. As an intern you would work closely with our Highways or Rail teams working to support some of the graduates or engineers on a range of local and national projects. Whilst most of the role is likely to be office based there may be some opportunities to work from other offices where appropriate.
Essential Criteria;

  • Our ideal candidate would be studying towards attaining a minimum 2:1 BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • Have developed a good range of IT skills

Yo u will join us in the summer period and join our community of interns under our programme called Jacobs Campus. This programme will allow you to work with a mentor who will work with you in identifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio of learning experiences to make reference to. There will also be opportunities to network through your community and other networks across Jacobs in various experiences that will be on offer
