General Overview

Direct, lead, develop the eVolveTM sales business in the location assigned. Identify and seek leads and opportunities for the BlackBox, BlackStar and BlackStream tools. Manage each project, utilizing the PM, analysis, field and ops teams from initial contact to presentation and closing out the billing. Be active in product/service development by identifying markets outside of the typical downhole drilling dysfunction applications. Liaise with engineering on tool development and tool requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

oLead identification

oTechnical client product presentations

oTechnical papers

oCase histories

oPresenting at local lunchins

·Manage each project from start to finish with the support of:

oProject manager

oOperations

oField engineer

oAnalysis team

oRTTC

obilling

·Listen for product placement opportunities for other NOV divisions

  • Develop and evolve the TSE group to address market and application requirements
  • Integrate and establish support levels for NOVA automation support within the TSE group
  • Provide career path for TSE group to develop into In House engineer
  • Through constant customer contact maintain accurate monitoring of performance, activity, applications and competition to NOV DH products.
  • Technically supervise integrated multi-product solutions to clients.
  • Evolve the technical support element to encompass new technologies and software
  • Identify, request and evaluate new processes to streamline and improve work flow and efficiency
  • Conduct peer reviews on application projects
  • Provide BHA and Drill-String recommendations directly to DD Companies and Operators.
  • Identify and assist in product improvements / development and placement.
  • Make recommendations to enhance existing products to drive reliability.
  • Implement procedures, best practices and follow knowledge management processes.
  • Promote the technical image of NOV in the local area through membership of industry groups, technical papers and local publications.
  • Qualifications Educational Requirements:

    -4 Year Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Related Technical Degree

    Work Experience Requirements: Minimum 5 years in oilfield sales and service with some administrative background.-3+ Years Sales experience. Job Requirements:-This position will require some domestic travel-Clean driving licence-Observes safety regulations, wears required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to Management.-Adheres to all HSE requirements.-Working hours are as necessary
