We are currently looking for x 2 34kV SAP Consultants to work on an initial 2 months freelance contract role for one of our leading renewable energy clients on their offshore wind farm project. Maybe you are finishing off your current position and would be available to start this role from the 1st October 2018 up until 31st December 2018 there is the possibility that this role will extend for a further 6 months.  

The role will be on a 2 week on / 2 week off rotation shift pattern, 10hrs a day in average 7 days a week; however, this may change to 3 weeks on duty. Accommodation will be on board Flotel or Vessel.  If you have at least 3 yrs. work experience within the offshore wind farm industry this would be an advantage.
  • To be responsible for electrical issues in accordance with the affected Country’s legislation and regulations.
  • Define safety procedures for electrical matters.
  • Implement a permit system for Electrical Safety Rules.
  • Coordinate MV/HV/LV commissioning activities through the project construction stages.
  • To advise operationally on HV electrical installations to WTG, offshore substations and both HV submarine and onshore cables.
  • Oversee safe commissioning of grid connections, onshore substations and associated MV/HV/LV plant and equipment.
  • Oversee all MV/HV/LV electrical operational activities to ensure safety security and integrity of the HV network.
  • To contribute to proactive management, good coordination and communication with all parties to ensure the process works effectively.
  • Must have full valid GWO Certificates, Medical and Chester step, HUET.
  • Electrical Engineer at a similar level.  
Special Provisions:

The Consultant must have his/her own PC with MS Office software and must be in possession of an i-phone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows Phone 8.1. together with his / her own PPE equipment.
