Join us and become Lead Originator and Investment Manager in Energy Storage & Solar where you'll be responsible for the origination, development and execution of grid-scale and behind-the-meter standalone solar, standalone storage and hybrid renewable projects in Europe.

Our newly formed business unit is actively building up a portfolio of solar and battery storage projects at grid-connected sites in Europe and North America and is expanding into customer-sited, behind-the-meter projects in Europe.

Your key tasks will be to
  • assess the market opportunities for energy storage and solar in Europe
  • build a portfolio of energy storage and solar development projects through acquisition and/or greenfield development
  • contract projects and negotiate off-take agreements
  • work with internal functions to assess project value and risks
  • present projects to the investment committee for construction approval.
  •
You'll also develop and co-develop projects through commercial operations.

Your competences include that you
  • have at least a bachelor's degree, or preferably a master's degree, in a relevant field such as business or engineering
  • have substantial experience in structuring and negotiating M&A-type agreements, EPC agreements and off-take/power purchase agreements
  • have substantial hands-on experience in project development and origination
  • have a solid understanding of energy storage and solar technologies, markets and their value propositions
  • speak and write English fluently and are fully able to conduct negotiations in English; ability to speak and write in another European language is an advantage.

Furthermore, you have a proven track record of success in renewables and clean energy business development. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are keen to work in an agile and changing environment, and you can successfully work remotely and independently with a diligent, proactive and systematic approach to your tasks.
