Job Title: Offshore Wind Asset Management (Engineer)

Location: Glasgow

Permanent | Full Time Hours

The Role

You will work within SSE Offshore Wind Project Development and be responsible for protecting the owners’ interests and overseeing the technical, financial and commercial vigour of the offshore wind farm development project(s), O&M component. This includes establishing the optimum O&M model for the project(s) to ensure it can be safely operated and maintained. It may also be necessary to work within the JV project team(s) to contribute to the O&M strategy, develop the O&M plan and contribute to the CfD bid supply chain plan.

Your Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you will have experience in an operational or commercial position with a proven track record of communicating / influencing at a middle management level both internally and externally, and dealing with significant P&L’s and budgets. Previous experience of working within an Asset Management and/or JV environment would be an advantage

You will have the ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation up to and including the Board of Directors and challenge all aspects of project costs and drive efficiency in all areas. Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative are essential.
