Job Title: Head of Offshore Wind
Salary: £78,000 - £116,000 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Our Wind Generation business is a fast growing and high performing business. The Head of Offshore Wind will take up a substantial senior role in our business, reporting to board level. You will play a pivotal role in delivering on the future strategy of the business and take lead on operations and commercial activities of major offshore wind farms, which are multi-billion investments and turn over.
Leading a multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed workforce you will develop and deliver operational and business strategy to ensure we can meet the demands of the rapidly growing renewables industry. Leading on the ongoing development and performance of the teams and contractors you will ensure the highest level of performance and delivery.
Working closely with senior internal stakeholder and our Joint Venture partners you will be the link between both parties, therefore it is essential that you have strong engagement and management skills.
Your Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate a successful career in the management and operations of large energy assets, preferably offshore renewable projects. Experience in managing multinational stakeholder and investors is essential. The ability to lead a rapidly growing team to ensure the team continues to be a leading example of excellence is essential. You will ensure that all operations are undertaken to high standards of safety and environmental compliance.
A key strength will be your ability to act decisively and quickly, when under pressure, in a complex and diverse business. You be able to demonstrate a high level of commercial and contractual capability. As a strong communicator you will be able to report concisely and accurately.
You will have a strong understanding of the energy market in the UK, as is the desire and ability to drive additional value from the extensive asset base through innovative and efficient operations.
Due to the locations of our sites its essential that you are flexible and able to frequently travel across the UK
