The position & experience required

Supporting the in-country and contracted resources in addressing in-country direct and contracted resources in addressing technical issues, improving performance, providing technical guidance and direction to lead failure investigations. Engage with external parties including shareholders, equipment & service providers, industry technical bodies, and engineering specialists as required to drive continuous improvement.

Ensure fitness of all Automation and Control systems to maintain design intent over the full life cycle to enable safe operations always contributing to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the business including participation in the project hand over assurance processes.


  • 10+ years’ experience, ideally with an operator (Shell, Total, Chevron, etc)
  • Chartered Engineer is mandatory
  • Held Lead, Senior or ideally Technical Authority
  • Operational Readiness, Commissioning, Functional Safety, Alarm Management, Scada, Honeywell.
  • Must have an operational background, not project.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills on all levels of an organization
  • Self – Starter with a Dynamic approach
