Job Description: Brief Posting Description
We are currently sourcing Senior Consultant Engineer- Rotating Equipment Reliability to join our team in Houston, TX. The Senior Consultant will provide engineering solutions and services that improve machine reliability
and assist our Oil & Gas, Mining and Utilities clients in achieving peak production, while maximizing machinery life cycles.

This position will report directly to the Business Lead- Rotating Equipment Reliability.

Authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorship required. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Detailed Description
The successfulcandidate will have a laser focus on these critical key areas:

• Develop and implement overallmaintenance strategies and programs for clients whilst seeking opportunities toimprove them utilising the latest in data analytics techniques;
• Help clients solve complexrotating equipment engineering problems;
• Develop, manage andimplement vibration, lubrication and thermography based predictive maintenanceprograms - including on-site data collection, analysis, and determination ofrecommendations for rotating equipment including turbo-machinery and balance ofplant;
• Assist in maintaining anddeveloping client relationships, including developing new businessopportunities;
• Provide technical and/orconsulting mentoring for colleagues in the group;
• Lead or assist withinvestigations, providing technical input for equipment failures andtroubleshooting projects: alignments, balancing, ODS and RCA;
• Perform RCM (ReliabilityCentered Maintenance) and FMECA (Failure Mode, Effects, and CriticalityAnalysis);
• Identify opportunities toimprove client plant reliability, availability and/or performance,collaborating with clients to turn to their advantage; and
• Provide support, mentoringand technical reviews for other consultant colleagues in the group inpredictive and preventive maintenance practices .
Job Requirements
The neededrequirements for this opportunity:

• A high regard for, andpractice of, safety and health at all times;
• Tertiary degree inmechanical engineering (or equivalent);
• Fully certified ISO VCAT2 minimum(VCAT3 preferred), TCAT/LCAT highly regarded;
• 8+ years hands-onexperience of managing and implementing predictive maintenance strategies, includingvibration analysis (turbo machinery and balance of plant), thermography,lubrication, alignment and balancing;
• Extensive machineryknowledge of a wide range of rotating equipment;
• Proficiency in the latestdata analytics tools and techniques;
• Experienced user of CMMSsystems (e.g. SAP, Maximo, Meridium);
• Client focused with goodrelationship building skills;
• Highly motivated, self-sufficientindividual who nonetheless enjoys working as part of a close knit andsupportive team;
• Flexibility to traveloffshore and onshore at short notice;
• High level of projectmanagement skills and commercial controls;
• Understands and commits toprocess compliance in project/practice management systems;
• High level of Englishliteracy, report writing skills, and computer proficiency; and
• Recent experience in the Oil&Gas, Mining or Utilities industries is highly desirable.
