The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst's responsibilities will include: Perform product and process audits including audit preparation and in-briefing, conducting of audit, creating audit report, documenting findings, work with other engineers for resolution, conducting verifications, tracking findings to closure, and present audit report to management. Understanding facilities operations to include plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and mechanical engineering to perform installation MDIOC Unified Facilities Guide Specification audits to ensure compliance to standard and configuration as-builds are installed per technical procedures, instructions and drawings. Will collect, analyze, organize and present data to management. Will provide inputs to quality trend data and initiate corrective action; including entry into a computer database. Will understand risk process and support Risk Management team in risk analysis and mitigation; Will provide interface with internal/external customers to coordinate changes, review data, and provide Mission Assurance and QA guidance and support. Will receive direction, guidance, monitoring and control of this function from the QA Infrastructure Lead and the TRD lead within the IRES contract.

Requirements : The candidate must hold a 2 years of college in Engineering related classes and have 8 years general experience with 4 years relative experience in Quality Assurance to include project and process auditing. The candidate must demonstrate an understanding of project management lifecycle and risk management. Demonstrated excellence in verbal, written communications and presentation skills. Possess Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) skills and experience. Ability to operate and multi-task in a challenging and dynamic environment. Possess great planning, coordination and organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor in interacting with a wide variety of people. Possess ability to work independently with little oversight or supervision and as a team member. The employee must have the physical requirements to balance and occasionally work from ladders, scolding and elevated surfaces, and below raised floors, have ability for standing, climbing stairs, walking, squatting, kneeling, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Candidate must be a US citizen and have a current DoD Secret Clearance.

Desired : Understanding of TEMPEST, Red/Black separation, QA Auditing Methodology, Engineering Methodology, System Lifecycle Methodology, Root Cause Analysis, or Failure Mode Effect Analysis. Six Sigma green belt experience. Working knowledge of Risk Management Systems. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ITIL, AS9100 with practical application experience. Knowledge of Missile Defense, Software Engineering, Engineering Services, DoD communications systems, or process improvement initiatives.
