Wind Turbine Service Engineer
Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a Wind Turbine Technician for Wind Turbines around the North of the Netherlands.
The role will involve installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of Turbines on Wind Farms in the North of the Netherlands.
You will be working at height and so need to be confident in that environment, but all appropriate training courses will be given if needed. The role is physically demanding and thus requires a high level of fitness.
This role will primarily require an MBO training level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or General operational technician. It is ideal to have experience with heavy industrial equipment.
If you have worked in the wind industry before this will be an advantage.
Specifically, you will need to have experience with fault finding, 3 phase systems and electrical systems maintenance. It is also important to have knowledge of the health and safety regulations. If you have experience with PLCs and control systems that will also strengthen your application.
You should have a flexible attitude and are prepared to sometimes remedy malfunctions outside normal working hours.
You will need to have a driving licence for this role.
You must be fluent in English, basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
