Our UK based team is led by a team of experts in procurement strategy, claims management and dispute resolution and as part of our expansion in this space, we are seeking to recruit an exceptional individual to join our Contracts Services division in Leeds or Manchester and to expand our service capability across the central north region.

We are working on many iconic, interesting and significant projects across the UK and on commissions where we are approached to provide expert services.

With high performing business units in London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Scotland, we have an extremely strong pipeline of work and this is a unique opportunity to join and develop a highly profitable division within Turner & Townsend.


With some experience in a consultancy or contractor organisation, you will have some experience in Contract Assurance, Audit Support, Claims Management, Dispute avoidance and/or Dispute Resolution within the construction sectors. With a 'can do' attitude and commercially astute, you will be driven by best outcomes for our clients, whilst being supported by senior management.

We are seeking individuals from a quantity surveying, project management, engineering and/or legal background, to work with and support growing team of Experts and aid the organic growth of this high performing team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to:

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrate a level of support to expert witnesses in arbitral or ligation processes
  • Confident in a client and legal facing environment, with good presentational skills and natural gravitas
  • Broad experience in a variety construction sectors
  • A sound understanding of national and international construction contracts and the process and procedures relating thereto
  • Application of robust and methodical analytical skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach to service delivery under a number of challenging scenarios
  • Confident in approach, with the ability to lead projects in own right, but when necessary to work as part of a team
  • Some experience of providing consultancy services on live contracts and projects in distress
  • A keen interest in business development, both internally and externally
  • Able to prepare and support on bid proposals, and work closely alongside Senior Management and the wider Turner & Townsend team

  • Will need to be willing to work away from home from time to time.
  • Supporting the management team in business operations with focussed attention to the strategic growth of our Contract Services division in line with our 2020 vision

  • Quantity surveying, civil engineering or cost management degree
  • MSc Construction Law or similar an advantage
