  • Overall responsibility for one specific product, both technically and commercially over the entire product lifecycle
  • Close collaboration with B2B Solution Product and Program Managers aligning product roadmap with segments' needs
  • Responsible for harmonization and alignment of all product initiatives across the B2B business and the RUs
  • Building & Managing the center of competence
  • Key member of the B2B product manager community
  • Define the strategy/technical specifications/functionalities of the product and refine it through a customer co-creation process to ensure customer value, enhance customer relationships and minimize solution development risk
  • Monitor and coordinate the product development processes & associated deliverables, supported by the product development engineer
  • Define business strategy for the supply chain in close alignment with respective supply chain owners
  • Ensure that the product meets the financial requirements in terms of ongoing cost and target pricing
  • Collaborate with B2B / E.ON core functions (T&I, RUs, Purchasing, Finance, etc.)  to ensure alignment
  • Analyze market intelligence from segment/product managers and derive implications for product value proposition
  • Identify and develop product opportunities in new markets and regions in line with product roadmap, develop the business case for these opportunities
  • Ensure product and solution quality and reliability by defining and controlling quality standards
  • Support Application Engineers, Design Engineers, Marketing, Sales as well as Delivery with product specific matters

  • University degree in the field of engineering/ business engineering or a comparable course of study
  • Extensive work experience in delivering and developing Building Energy Management Solutions

  • Ability to work under own initiative and to build and work with virtual cross-country teams
  • Analytic mind with ability to derive concrete recommendations and drive their implementation.
  • Product lifecycle management - managing products from cradle to grave.
  • Open mindset with understanding of digital developments and markets, creativity to identify opportunities for hardware product portfolio
  • Strong interpersonal and moderation skills, persuasiveness and empathy.
  • Commercial awareness
  • Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge from outside own area of expertise
  • Ability to translate the needs of the customer into product requirements
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Strong project management experience is desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills -  fluent English skills, other languages (German, French, Italian, Romanian, Czech, Hungarian, Swedish) welcome
  • Willingness to travel across Europe
  • In depth understanding of the managed product. Knowledge of other B2B energy efficiency products of advantage.
  • Several years of professional experience in commercial product development with a proven track record of delivering products/ solutions into the market.
  • Experience in leadership roles, having built and managed successful teams
  • International experience and intercultural skills
