Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a Wind turbine service engineer for Wind Turbines around the south west of the Netherlands. More specifically in south Holland and Zeeland
The role will involve preventative maintenance of the turbines, for electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. You will need to be based in or around south west of Holland or Zeeland.
This role will primarily require an MBO in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical engineering.
If you have worked in the wind industry before this will be an advantage, otherwise heavy machinery or industrial experience is also relevant. You must be confident working at height and limited space. Having GWO and VCA certificates is also an advantage.
Specifically, you will need to have experience with fault finding, 3 phase systems and electrical systems maintenance. It is also important to have knowledge of the health and safety regulations. If you have experience with PLCs and control systems that will also strengthen your application.
You should have a flexible attitude and are prepared to sometimes remedy malfunctions outside normal working hours. Good at working in teams and great communication skills are important.
You will need to have a driving licence for this role. You must be willing to travel on a regular basis.
You must be fluent in English and Dutch. An understanding of the German language is a plus.
