Job Description: Brief Posting Description
We are currently sourcing a Welder Foreman to join our team in our Aberdeen office then rotationally in the North Sea.
Detailed Description

• Ensure all relevant performance targets are achieved and standards are met.
• Ensure that all preparation work is identified and in place to allow scopes to start as scheduled in the construction plan.
• Possess Suitable Integrated Safe Systems of Work (ISSOW) certification to allow the creation of Permit to Work (PTW) and act as Permit Authority (PA) on the worksite order to complete work scope in a controlled and safe manner.
• Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring that discipline activities are completed safely and to a high standard at all times.
• Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner.
• To contribute discipline experience to the ongoing development of project work methods, processes and team development.
• Daily / weekly log all activities. Prepare and submit progress and assist with daily / weekly reports.
• Ensure that all punch list items are completed within appropriate time frame.
• Carry out a Constructability review of all work packs. Feedback any issues to Construction lead or relevant Engineering discipline. This will include input at scope survey and engineering stage.
• Ensure that all plant and equipment meets requirements, fully certificated and controlled cost effectively.
• Ensure effective control of all material movements to and from the platform notifying the relevant personnel of any discrepancies.
• Ensure that all timesheets are inputted accurately in line with completion of current activities and a company representative initials all timesheets.
• Ensure that the work is being executed in accordance with the project specification, work pack / job card method statements, inspection, testing, commissioning instructions and procedures.
• Ensure that Line Manager, Construction Focal Point and Planner are informed of any delays to preparatory work that would impact or significantly delay the schedule.
• Ensure obligations are met by way of timely completion of work packs and sign off of relevant certification.
• Proactively ensure personal training requirements are kept up to date and identify any training needs to line supervisor.
• Ensure personnel (under your control) training requirements are kept up to date and identify any training needs to line supervisor.
• Hold daily supervision co-ordination/progress meetings with Construction team.
• In accordance with the project planning priorities, co-ordinate the daily organisation, supervision and execution of the planned work scopes.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Practical knowledge of process / systems plant and equipment relevant to the industry sector in own discipline area. Experienced with technician practice within discipline environment.
