Mechanical Engineering Specialist (Technical Authority)

The Mechanical Engineering Specialist shall be the Operations Technical authority responsible for the timely development and implementation of company-wide Mechanical Engineering processes and procedures to optimise production, reliability and availability of plant and machinery.
Reporting directly to the Technical and Asset Integrity Manager the Mechanical Engineering Specialist is accountable for providing mechanical engineering assurance for the pre-commissioning, commissioning and operation of all the Company’s installed mechanical equipment
The Mechanical Engineering specialist is responsible for the integrity and operability of all mechanical equipment installed within the Compressor Stations, Pipeline Receiving Terminal and Transmission Pipeline within the three host countries and ensures the suitability and fitness of all mechanical equipment to maintain design intent over full life cycle to enable safe operations at all times contributing to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
The Mechanical Engineering Specialist shall engage with equipment & service providers, industry technical bodies, and engineering specialists as required to drive continuous improvement.
The Mechanical Engineering Specialist will be the company focal point for management of change process and shall provide technical support and oversight.
