Would you like to take on the business controlling responsibility for one or more of our offshore wind farms in the UK? 
 
Join Ørsted and become Business controller in Wind Power Finance. You will be part of the Operations and Asset controlling team in Wind Power Finance that prepares and reports financial information for all operating wind farms, as well as wind farms transitioning from construction. You will be dedicated to one or more UK based wind farms and will report directly to the Business Controlling Manager. 
 
Your key tasks will be to 
  • be responsible for the accounting, budget and forecasting as well as monthly reporting for one or more wind farms 
  • be finance business partner to the Site Operations Manager, OMA Contract Manager, Asset Manager and joint venture partners 
  • identify value optimisation opportunities for the operation & maintenance activities 
  • ensure that the assets comply with our financial governance and procedures. 
 
Your qualifications and core competences include that you 
  • have a financial education, such as a ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, and a minimum of one-year PQE 
  • have experience working in a complex business environment, ideally within the energy industry, or have top 10 accounting practice experience. 
  • have extensive experience in dealing with cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and other financial matters 
  • are a skilled and proficient user of Microsoft Excel (advanced level) and Power Point 
  • have strong English communication skills both written and verbally which enable you to communicate with stake holders on all organisational levels. 
  • are motivated by working in an international setup. 
 
You are a proactive, adaptive and 'can-do' person who has a structured and result-driven approach to problem solving. Additionally, you are a team-player and eager to work in a large organisation with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
