Role synopsis
Indirect Procurement (IP) manages risk and delivers value for BP's global spend on corporate goods and services (IT, HR, Professional Services, Property and Travel) as well as managing the group real estate portfolio. We work across all functions, segments and geographies providing a unique ability to impact the business.

This role involves establishing, agreeing and executing the category management plans for a portfolio of indirect spend for Temporary Personnel Services.

The role involves significant stakeholder management working across multiple areas of BP and gives the incumbent a rare insight into how BP works.

Key accountabilities
• Understand the supply market and demand within BP for a sub-category of spend
• Work with the BP business to develop and agree the category plans
• Execute the strategy, creating and managing operational metrics
• Establish and oversee the transactional procurement process
• Agree preferred supplier and tail supplier management strategies
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Comms, etc. to effectively lead change

Key Challenges:
•Influencing a disaggregated set of stakeholders

Essential Education
• Degree and/or a procurement qualification (ISM, CIPS or similar)

Essential experience and job requirements
• Thorough understanding of and experience in procurement category management
• Working in a diverse, inclusive and international environment
• Ability to communicate and influence across all different levels in the organisation
• Domain expertise in designing and delivering a Freelance Management program
• Experience working in a managed service provider model for Temporary Staffing
• Project Management and Project Planning tools experience (ie. MS Project)
• Change Management experience including multinational enterprise
