A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Document Controller for their offshore wind farm project. The Document Controller will manage a consistent, standardised approach to the control of project documentation. Ensuring all documents are compliant with the clients Record Management policy.  Our client is looking for the Document Controller to start this role to be based in Denmark as soon as possible up until 31st December 2018 with the possibility of extending further thereafter. This is a 5 day working week.   

Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure professional and timely document support to a technical package.
  • To ensure compliance to document and records management processes.
  • Proactively ensure implementation and communication of the document and records management requirements, responsibilities, tools and processes.
  • Ensure, standardisation & best practices to develop, improve & align documentation quality across Asset Projects and or Product Line.
  Tasks:
  • To establish and maintain communications with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely flow of the documentation deliverables.
  • Incorporation with the responsible package manager ensure that relevant supplier documentation deliveries are in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure that distribution matrixes and review status lists exist are updated at all times.
  • To ensure implementation of TQ and Transmittal procedure.
  • Implementation monthly review & quarterly baseline review of package master document register against the contractual delivery plans.
  • To ensure the implementation of technical documentation review processes thereby ensuring full traceability of the technical documentation.
  • To ensure readiness of as-built packages.
  • To ensure availability of technical documentation in order to support the documentation transfer to Q&M, partner and OFTO in close corporation with Records Manager.
  • Support the quality team in their delivery of project quality standards and liaise with quality manager where sub-standard and non-conformances are identified within documentation and ensure close out of issue.
  Qualifications:
  • Minimum Technical Draught person or Document Controller preferred, higher education or above in Engineering / Technology/ Applied Sciences.
  • Special Technical courses: IT programmes on a user level
  • 3 – 5yrs as project documentation controller and / or QA/QC roles in engineering projects
  • Documented use and maintenance of technical archive systems 
Special Provisions:
The Consultant must be in possession of an i-phone 4S,5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or a Windows phone 8.1.
