Job DescriptionJob Description

Maintenance Technicians will report directly to the Facility Manager. This position will have primary responsibility for maintaining the physical assets of the company.

 

Responsible for completion of all maintenance work orders as assigned • Schedule and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program • Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned • Use and maintain necessary power equipment and hand tools • Assist in monitoring work being performed by outside contractors • Accurately document processes as required • Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed. • Perform other routine maintenance duties as assigned. • Always maintain a high level of safety practices. • Train others on the operation as requested.

 

Education and/or Experience • 3+ years of previous maintenance experience

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities • Ability to troubleshoot problems • Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools and forklifts • Ability to adapt to workload • Good time management skills • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed

 

Environmental & Physical Demands • Manufacturing environment. Requires walking, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. • May require exposure to unpleasant fumes and odors. • Occasional exposure to loud noise. • May require lifting up to 80lbs.
