The Challenge
Begin your graduate journey with us whilst taking part in our fantastic graduate development programme. We will create an individual training plan to help you to develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it you will be set up with the best knowledge to equip you for your professional career within Siemens.
  • Working closely with your mentor, you will establish a personal development plan to challenge your skills and grow your competence - whilst getting to know our business and our impact on society through a variety of hands-on assignments.
  • Assessing and categorising security risks and the management of these risks through the application of mitigation strategies
  • Developing knowledge and skills in the preparation of engineering security plans, specifications and system design
  • Applying security zoning principles to the design of solution architectures, implementing defence in depth solutions through a combination of security protection and breach detection technologies
  • Providing advice and guidance on system hardening and security configuration of host devices
  • Applying secured networking principles to our solutions
  • Security vulnerability assessment and the development of vulnerability management strategies
  • Performing system penetration testing
  • Building a working knowledge of our products, systems and strategies for implementation.
  • Participating in the continuous improvement our solutions by identifying efficiencies while promoting engineering excellence, through the adoption of new processes tools and methods of working.

Here's what it takes to join some of the world's brightest minds.
  • You should have completed or due to complete a degree in a computer science, software, electronic engineering or technology-based subject.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree which must be accredited towards acquiring Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional institution.
  • A willingness to learn and ability to innovate.
  • Safety culture awareness - to be able to influence and develop an existing safety culture to latest generation thinking and practice.
  • Enjoy taking responsibility for tasks and projects.
  • Aspire to be a leader or specialist within an engineering environment.
