The Turbine Control Department provides day to day technical support to Service Operations, customer engineering support, direct changes on the existing fleet (CIM, ECR, projects), ensuring the deployment of technical solutions to sites, correct SW and parameter settings, delivering platform improvements to reduce LPF.

  • Conduct reliability evaluation and in-depth analysis of underperforming mechanical components and provide recovery plans;
  • Prepare technical reports including root cause analysis for failed components (mainly main components) in order to improve turbine performance.
  • Act as a liaison between Service and R&D departments to improve turbine performance;
  • Technical support on troubleshooting of mechanical components;
  • Create procedures and guidelines to aid Field Services in inspection of the wind turbine;
  • Review work instructions, technical drawings, external inspection reports, perform project site observations with minimum assistance.
  • Act as a liaison between field personnel, vendors, customers, and Continuous Improvement Management;
  • Provide support to the legal department in electrical main components technical issues;
  • Create and deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers.

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or related;
  • Solid professional knowledge and experience in mechanical systems evaluation;
  • Solid problem solving and root cause failure analysis;
  • Advanced English skills both in writing and speaking, Native Spanish or Portuguese.

  • Proactivity, able to multitask and prioritize daily work under a ever-changing environment;
  • Investigative approach, accurate and solid attention to detail;
  • Great capacities to work as a part of a team;
  • High learning capacities and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Organized and process-motivated, with the ability to suggest and promote improvements;
