Airswift is pleased to announce we are partnering with Europe’s leading Mobile Purification Solutions Expert: Desotec Activated Carbon, in the search for a Sales Engineer to develop the UK market.

DESOTEC is an international developer, producer and supplier of purification solutions mainly based on activated carbon technology. Its complete solutions include: the supply of a wide range of mobile adsorption systems; the design, construction and start-up of tailor made fixed systems; and the recycling of used activated carbon. Desotec has determined five strategically chosen application fields: Waste Water; Chemicals; Remediation; Biogas; and Air Emission. Within these application fields, and together with its customers, Desotec can find the appropriate purification solution for every problem.

Sales Engineer UK - Homeworking

  • You are responsible for the sale of technically challenging projects in the field of air and water
  • purification as well as process applications.
  • You identify and analyse the requirements at the customer’s site and provide a solution as well as
  • follow-up and additional services.
  • You draw up price quotations, treat new enquiries and close deals with customers.
  • You further develop the customer base in the region assigned to you through active market prospecting.


  • You are a pro-active engineer with strong analytical skills and with a good basic knowledge of chemistry
  • Preferably a Chemical Engineering or other related degree: Process Engineering; Biochemical;
  • Bio-Engineering; Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences
  • You should have several years of work experience in a related sector: biogas, chemistry, water
  • purification, ground remediation or environmental techniques
  • As this is a homeworking role – you should be comfortable working independently, and be extremely
  • self-motivating
  • You are confident and assertive enough to communicate with customers.
  • You are available at the head office in Belgium on a regular basis (initial 6 week training program
  • followed by 2 days in Belgium every 3 weeks).
