Senior Leader of Business Process Automation and Digitization is responsible and accountable for driving profitable growth and has global P&L responsibility for the Jacobs Connected Enterprise (JCE) and Jacobs Process Risk Optimization (JPRO) products. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneur with a strong technical background in petroleum and chemicals to move the industry and Jacobs forward in exciting new ways.

Successful candidates should be able to:

  • Collaborate across business lines to identify and grow internal / external opportunities
  • Understand the market and make recommendations regarding opportunities to pursue
  • Leverage the strength of our global workforce, including the tremendous depth of Jacobs subject matter experts
  • Demonstrate technical engineering expertise as well as a broad business development mindset
  • Serve as Executive Sponsor for key strategic programs, providing executive steering leadership to program teams
  • Collaborate with the SVP, Global Operations, to ensure project delivery excellence and with the SVP, Global Sales, to enhance market strategy
  • Demonstrate a strong business and financial acumen
  • Develop and coordinate a global partner network to leverage necessary and enabling technologies that enhance Jacobs differentiation in the marketplace

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably in Chemical, Control Systems or Electrical); MBA preferred
  • Minimum 15-20 years of relevant experience in global EPC, with a focus on petroleum and chemicals
  • Demonstrated experience building business through technical sales and account management
  • Working knowledge of process control and project management
  • Established credibility with senior-level executives (C-suite) preferred
  • High Business Acumen; Startup business experience preferred
  • Experience leading and growing P&L business units with diverse business models and sales responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical concepts that resulted in successful business growth and opening new client relationships
  • Proven ability to create a strategic vision and organize a motivated workforce to drive business growth
  • Ability to successfully implement new technologies and drive cultural change
