For its newly created Energy Economics IT department within the Business IT Group function in future E.ON. Energy Economics IT is responsible for planning, building and running a greenfield application landscape setup and supporting continuous business change to further develop the Energy Economics businesses across regions and for ensuring dynamic response to continuous market and regulatory changes.
As Business and Service Analyst you will conduct local service delivery for Sweden business users from Energy Economics business functions for the core applications and its interfaces including incident support and communications to business stakeholders. You will Support implementation projects and regular change activities in analysing and documenting business needs and requirements, directly interfacing with business users in functional alignment and requirements analysis workshops.
As Business and Service Analyst you will be the interface between business users, solution units and internal and external service providers with a strong focus on monitoring, securing and improving service quality
You will work in close collaboration with Solution Architects in order to drive the functional solutions. During the implementation you will also support testing and validation and be hands on when needed.
Some of your duties
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with IT and business stakeholders of the Energy Economics core applications
  • Contribute to central processes like Change and Release Management
  • Closely cooperate with EE project managers, application managers, internal and external service providers/vendors and central/regional business users, considering relevant technical, economic and organizational aspects to meet business objectives
  • Closely align, take guidance from and provide feedback to IT peers in central and regional EE IT Architecture and Solution units to ensure overall consistency of solutions and smooth transition of changes (projects, enhancements...) into operations
  • Actively promote knowledge sharing and build-up of Energy Economics IT expertise and skills for all core applications
As Business and Service Analyst you will functionally report to the Head of EE IT Service Management within the Energy Economics IT department. You will be located in Malmö, Sweden.

The position will most likely require:
  • University degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or comparable education, ideally ITIL certified
  • Multiple years of incident and problem management experience, solid understanding of ITIL processes
  • Solid operational experience of working in an Energy Trading/Dispatch environment in application support, issue resolution; project management experience is a plus
  • Good hands-on experience and profound knowledge of an ETRM (preferably Allegro), trade life cycle process, related business processes, information flows and data structures as well as functionalities like Deal Capture, Portfolio- and Risk Management, Settlements, Confirmations, Nominations, Dispatch
  • Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organisational skills and IT affinity
  • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written, basic Swedish language skills preferred
