As a Quality Lead, primary responsibility will be in develop Test Strategy, Test Plan and ensuring test sufficiency and meeting release quality for the release. He/she will be responsible to defining Quantitative measurement of Release quality and adhering the same. Also will be responsible continuous improvement in processes and customer satisfaction for the releases. Will drive the Defect Analysis and Prevention activities across releases, and improving overall release quality.

Essential Responsibilities

• Ability to define test strategy, test plans for the releases across product lines.
• Ability to understand product level quality requirements and align to releases.
• Ability to define quantitative measurement model to monitor and improve product quality.
• Strong understanding of test automation and ways to leverage automation using Continuous Integration framework.
• Strong experience in Test Optimization, and balancing schedule pressures with Quality.
• Understand concepts of Agile and able support automation development/execution for agile teams (in-sprint automation).
• Understanding of test automation using UTF (Unified Test Framework), QTP and Selenium. Knowledge of Qualitia will be advantage.
• Strong understanding of Non-functional testing - Performance testing and usage of automation for performance testing; and Security Testing.
• Capable of guiding, coaching and mentoring team members.
• Communicate effectively both within the immediate team & other GE teams.
• Strong exposure to development practices (Unit Testing, Integration testing), having hands on development experience will be helpful.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and programming languages - flexible and adaptability to changing business needs
• collaborate with Automation architect in developing yearly Automation strategy and goal for the product lines.
• He will be responsible, along with Automation architect to leverage automation being develop and achieving ROI targets.
• He/she will need to work with virtual teams in driving release


• Master's Degree in Computer Science
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience with 5+ years of experience in PLM Domain
• Experience in developing test strategy, test plans for complex PLM systems.
• Experience with handling quality releases for complex PLM.
• Experience in Quality Assurance in Agile Projects
• Experience in development automation frameworks, execution of automation in VM's
• Previous working experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment models
• Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) - Unit testing with Jasmine/Mocha
• Previous experience with performance monitoring using tools like Load runner.
• Experience in PLM domain is preferable
