The Associate Specialist, HR Operations will be responsible for executing on all HR transactions and administration. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions. The HR Operations team will provide coverage and support as needed and receive guidance and escalation support from the HR Operations leadership team.

Essential Responsibilities

The Associate Specialist, HR Operations will support the Minnetonka-based HR and Operations leaders, across all HR service categories including non-exempt staffing, escalated pay & benefits inquiries, Oracle data maintenance, Kronos, scorecards, and reporting. The Specialist will process critical transactions and be the key interface between the Minnetonka site HR team and the Corporate HR COEs.

In addition, you will:
  • Provide dedicated support and guidance to the HR team with specific focus on HR transactions related to offer requests, interview scheduling, employee onboarding, data maintenance and HR data reporting and analytics
  • Be responsible for wing-to-wing hiring and staffing support including but not limited to: job posting requests, interview scheduling, compensation approval requests, offer letter requests, organization announcements and day 1 activities; recommend and lead improvements in staffing process
  • Be responsible for rigorous data management specifically related to employee data / assignment changes, job folder compliance, discipline and attendance record keeping and Oracle records
  • Manage reporting for several HR processes including maintaining and communicating scorecard for employee annual performance review and other requests as needed; recommend and lead process changes based on data and analytics
  • Provide escalated pay and benefits support for site employees
  • Assist with all other HR data & transaction requests as needed
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care
  • Interface with Corporate HR Operations, suggesting process improvements to reduce administrative workload and increase productivity


  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in systems used by GE, including Kronos ( approving time cards, entering missing time, ect.) and OHR ( maintaining accuracy of employees records, updating organizations, managers, titles, ect.)
