RWE npower require a Specialist Team Manager to join their Business Solutions area. This is a full time role to be based in our Oldbury office with travel to other sites and meetings when required.

Role description and what were looking for:

As the Team Manager, you will act as the point of escalation for your team and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed of outcomes. Whilst continually striving for process improvement you will implement and monitor new processes and controls. You will have day to day responsibility managing your team and the workload, ensuring that all HR processes are followed and that you develop your team to work effectively and efficiently.

The team ensures we receive quality metering and consumption data from our customers, to support the billing process. They manage the performance of metering agents in order for npower to meet its regulatory obligations.

They provide support in an administrative capacity on a broad range of complex queries. They are also responsible for investigating and resolving complex customer queries by liaising with the relevant stakeholders both internally and externally.

The team delivers excellent customer service by managing expectations and resolving any issues that arise in an efficient and timely manner.

Although industry knowledge is an advantage to be successful in this role we are looking for strong people managers. You will be analytical and be able to demonstrate previous experience in this area. You will be used to working to KPIs and will also have experience of setting targets and business planning. In addition to this you will be a strong communicator who is able to build relationships with and influence a variety of stakeholders.
