A blue chip utilities company is looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join its large and dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career long-term, working in an operational role for a large and progressive organisation, seen as an industry leader for H&S performance within their sector.

The Role:

You will be required to travel across various sites within your business area across South West London and Surrey
Monitoring and developing H&S performance within your business area against the company objectives, strategies, standards and procedures
Advising stakeholders of all levels within the business on H&S best practice and compliance, working with them to find positive solutions to any issues and acting as a genuine advisor on specific projects and sites
Develop and implement group H&S initiatives and behavioural safety programmes at a local level, undertake audits and inspections as required, report to the H&S Manager for your business unit on H&S performance and KPIs, identify potential training needs and requirements, and carry out incident investigations and root cause analysis as required

The Candidate:

NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification) is required
Ideally you will be CMIOSH, or at least working towards this
A track-record of success in delivering high levels of H&S performance, across large and diverse businesses
Relevant industry experience of high risk areas such as utilities, civil engineering or construction
