Department: Technical Operation und Support is a global working organization of Global Service
The Technical Operation and Support Department (TOS) is globally responsible for the new development of documentation for new Wind Turbine-Generator (WTG) platforms regarding global service organization. Multibrand Development is responsible for developing of know-how, which is required to support the global sub departments.

The Technical Lead team provides know-how as well as resources to enable developing the required documentation. This team supports the Platform Development Specialists in developing new WTG Platforms and additionally supports other interfaces within TOS and Global Service (e.g. Training Department). Within Technical Lead Team all required documentation is drafted, created, reviewed and approved.

  • Steering and control the turbines
  • Creating documentation for the mechanical structures and components
  • Competence of bug / fault treatment of wind turbines, especially on mechanical hardware and infrastructure
  • Training on the job of colleagues, preparing of work instructions and supporting training department
  • Perform project site observations with minimum assistance
  • Provide support to the technical writers and the technical sourcing team with e.g reviewing work instructions
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications
  • Creating of spare parts lists and recommended spare parts list

Qualifications and work experience:
  • Mechanical education background
  • Several years' experience in working on mechanical components turbines
  • Trained on wind turbine's mechanical components
  • Good communication skills
  • Diligence and very good multitasking abilities with capability to prioritize daily work under a fast paced environment
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Self-independent and structured way of working
  • Willingness to travel
