Basic Qualifications

Experience writing technical copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity.
Experience preparing and maintaining operations documentation, user guides and manuals and technical publications.
Experience working with developers to produce quality documentation and training materials.

Candidate shall possess:

- Works well in Team environment or can work alone with minimal supervision

Job Requirements include:
- Ability to write using clear and concise language that adheres to customer-established standards and conventions. Knowledge of the English language, grammar, usage and composition
- Ability to acquire and verify subject matter content by interviewing workers engaged in developing products and services, observing production methods, referring to blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, notes, manuals, and similar publications
- Ability to write technical content for procedure manuals, service manuals, and related technical publications that describes the installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and other equipment
- Experience in MS Office software suite
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or equivalent

Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation. He or she writes and edits technical documentation for all of the project's hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation. The candidate creates code documentation for software; produces implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities; provides field data definition, and data flow documentation and formats technical publications from technical drawings and consultations with subject matter experts and other available resources.
