Leads the commercial efforts and support the Renewables Sales Team supporting the Wind Aftermarket and New Unit Segment with deal strategy, pricing recommendations, terms, and customer negotiations for Operations and Maintenance Contracts, CMU (Upgrades), PowerUp and Strategic Parts Program sales.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with all internal functions as necessary and insure that all organizations are represented in the commercial process during the sale of Service contracts to support the Renewable s financial goals.
  • Develops drafts commercial contract templates for new products such as FSA's, PowerUp, GEEAR and others in close coordination with the European Services Product Line Manager, Risk, the Services Commercial Director & other relevant stake holders
  • Develops winning strategies to close profitable and executable orders for the highly competitive Wind Services segment in the extended European region including New Markets as necessary
  • Provides interface with counterparts in sales on prescribed transactions including new unit & installed base through the Risk Process
  • Mobilizes and lead multi-functional support teams to implement the transactions strategy (Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Contracts, Project Mgt. Legal, Pricing, Product Line, others)
  • Be principal owner & driver of e.g. the O&M transactions details related to pricing, technical, financial, legal and commercial inputs to lead the deal closure
  • Participates in Quality initiatives within ITO to drive process rigor, simplification, NPS, and other improvements in the overall ITO process
  • Supports achievement of Commercial team metrics related to Orders, Sales and Margin


    • Bachelor Degree in Technology, Engineering or Business from an accredited institution
    • Solid experience in Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Customer Service or equivalent experience associated with wind or with the Energy Industry
    • Basic experience with customer specification review, proposal development, contract development, and/or negotiations for equipment or service sales
    • Strong Communications skills, ability to interface with all levels of internal and customer personnel
    • Ability to travel as necessary
    • Six Sigma Training - Green or Black Belt or Quality Management/Auditor degree (internal)
    • Speaks fluently English to negotiate & draft complex contracts, add'l languages such as Spanish, French or German are a plus

      • MBA Degree from an accredited institution
      • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously
      • Wind Industry and / or Power Generation Experience
